Revolving around issues concerning the representation of gender, sexuality and desire, Chrystal C. - don't copy me! works as a 4D-collage. It links diverse materials such as found imagery, musical elements, text and dance fragments into a performative dramaturgy of presenting, reciting, commenting, repeating and copying, un-doing and re-doing. Both reversing and reassembling all of these elements, Chrystal C. - don't copy me! unfolds like a highly subjective and incongruous parade of (pop)cultural memory 'Chrystal C. - donīt copy me !'The performance-project Chrystal C. - donīt copy me ! was conceived and realised together with the Berlin based artist Christine Lemke. It consists of a simple setup of movements, projected images and sounds, lasting about 15 min.
