This Project came out of winning a competition for artworks in public space, relating to the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day in 2011

50.000 copies of my work, which takes as a starting point the format of a free newspaper, here called: 8.März, 100 Jahre Internationaler Frauentag (details) were distributed across Vienna on the 8th of March 2011. They were also distributed in art-related spaces and served as an art-insert within 10.000 copies of Malmoe-Magazine across Austria. They were also available in the MUSA, Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Angewandte Bibliothek, TQ Wien, Mumok, Springerin Office all in Vienna, in the Salzburger Kunstverein and in Germany at proQm, MOTTO, and b_books in Berlin


Ausgehend vom Vorwärts-Gebäude entwickelte Stefanie Seibold eine Gratiszeitung im Format der U-Bahn-Blätter.
In hoher Auflage wird sie zum 8. März verteilt und erreicht damit eine große Verbreitung. Damit bezieht sich die Künstlerin einerseits auf die Geschichte des Hauses als Druckerei und die historische, gesellschaftspolitische Bedeutung der früher dort erzeugten Druckerzeugnisse. Anderseits gelingt
Stefanie Seibold durch ihre künstlerische Spurensuche auf eine pragmatische und funktionale Weise eine Dissemination des Archivs und seiner Inhalte im urbanen Außenraum.
